"Games" by Steven Johnson

More and more people make playing computer games their main leisure activity. For children such entertainment may lead to poor heath through eyestrain, radiation, headache, lack of exercising and socializing with other children. The article “Games” by Steven Johnson shows the benefits of reading and games. By comparison, the author tries to find reading and video games as entertainment and educational tools which can help to train not only brains but also bodies through visual and hand-eye coordination. This essay makes us appreciate the creativity of useful entertainment instead of traditional reading and modern video games.  The author gives us an understanding how modern society should limit playing time and control its content.
